A different and nutritious type of chili.
Ingredients 1 15-ounce can organic pumpkin 3 pounds lean ground beef or vegetarian substitute 2 cans red kidney beans 2 medium onions- chopped 3 15-ounce cans cut tomatoes 2 tablespoons chili powder 1/4 teaspoon red pepper (optional) 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon salt 2 bay leaves 1 cup mushrooms (optional)
Directions Brown ground beef or vegetarian ground beef substitute and drain off excess fat Put ground beef into a large pot Add each ingredient into the pot Cook on low for one to two hours Serve with crackers
